A knowledgable and culturally competent navigator, Cyndi has experience working in the private and non-profit arenas. From her start in human resources with an international company, to client marketing in national media, Cyndi has gained experience working in diverse and varied organizations.
Integrity and empathy with a commitment for service delivery are the building blocks of Simply Good Form. Cyndi has volunteered as a communication's board member for both youth-focused and social justice non-profit organizations; and has experience working within the Canadian media industry, journalism and also as an entrepreneur.
She also has an uniquely lived experience as a cisgender parent, advocate and ally, which inspired her to use her skills to take action against the gaps in inclusion, which she personally experienced in both the private and public sectors of her everyday life.

Her expertise lie in navigating for trans and non-binary children, youth and teens.
Sweeney launched the Chapter of Pflag Halifax in 2018 and developed the In-Transition Clothesline, which has since expanded to Ontario.
When she's not educating, navigating or helping to evolve inclusive policies to support non-binary youth, she spends time with her family; her amazing partner and 3 children, an Irish whippet and a one-eyed feral cat. She cherishes good coffee, quiet lakes, conquering foreign food recipes and also knows a bit about fancy camping. But that's anther story altogether.
